Akangsha Rawat Opens About Estranged Husband Piyush Sahdev's Infidelity; Says, ‘Caught Him Cheating On Me Within The First 6 Months Of Our Marriage’

Television actress Akangsha Rawant has made a name for herself in the industry with shows like RadhaKrishn and Kahat Hanuman Jai Shree Ram. She recently opened up about her estranged marriage with actor Piyush Sahdev. The couple had tied the knot in 2012 and parted ways in 2017. For the unversed, they officially filed for divorce in 2022. Talking to a leading publication, she revealed that he had been cheating on her right from the beginning.
In her interview with ETimes, Akangsha opened up about her impending divorce with Piyush. She mentioned that not only did he treat her as a nurse, who often looked after him when he was bedridden during 2.5 years of their marriage, but also as a money provider. She also shared how she had caught him cheating on her in the first six months of their marriage, however, despite giving him multiple chances, he didn’t change.
She said, “Piyush was cheating on me, and I caught him on that within the first six months of our marriage. I gave him chances, but he did not change. Seems he had taken me to be his nurse and money provider. I was deeply shocked. He had portrayed himself to me as someone who hadn't been in any relationship before our marriage.”
Further in her interview, Akangsha expressed that the entire ordeal with Piyush had taken a majority of 10 years from her life and even the chance of her having children at the right age. She added, “I am still not divorced. It's still pending. Will he pay the balance money? Time is really slipping away. I see a chance- but a slim one of fulfilling my dream of becoming a mother.”
