Aman Verma’s Mother Passed Away 12 Minutes Before He Reached The Hospital: ‘It’s Something That Will Stay With Me’
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actor Aman Verma’s mother Kailash Verma passed away on April 18. The actor penned an emotional note on social media, informing fans about the heart-breaking news. In a recent interview, he shared that he hadn’t met his mother since before the pandemic, and also didn’t want to as he was shooting and he had feared his mother might get COVID-19 due to him. He shared that he was on his way to the hospital when his mother passed away.

While speaking to Hindustan Times, Aman Verma said, “She passed away 12 minutes before I reached the hospital. It is something that will stay with me.” His mother slipped at home on April 11 and after two days she was admitted to a hospital in Noida. Aman Verma revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19, but she had other health complications like hypertension. He revealed that after 5 days, the oxygen saturation in his mother’s body reduced to a dangerous level, after which she passed away.

Aman Verma spoke about realizing how grave the situation with the second wave of the pandemic is, when he was at the crematorium. “Though last rites are supposed to be sacred, but the electric crematorium got so crowded that eventually, they had to cremate non-Covid with Covid patients at the same time. It was scary,” he said.


In his post informing fans about the demise of his mother, Aman Verma wrote, “Life comes around in a complete circle. With a heavy heart I let all of u know that my mother #kailashverma left for her heavenly abode. Please keep her in your prayers and wishes. All condolences on the cell via msgs and calls, looking at the present COVID19 situation. GOD BLESS."
