Anas Rashid Confirms Wedding News, Says It’s Finally Happening With Everyone’s Blessings
Diya Aur Baati Hum actor, Anas Rashid, is all to tie the knot this year with Chandigarh girl Heena, reveals that they are getting to know each other at the moment
Anas Rashid fans, rejoice! The TV actor, who essayed the role of Sooraj Rathi in Diya Aur Baati Hum, is finally settling down in matrimony. The actor’s family was scouting for a suitable match for him for some time now, and have zeroed in on Heena.
SpotboyE.com has it that 24-year-old Heena hails from Malerkotla in Punjab and has been living in Chandigarh for the past 6 years.
When contacted, Anas confirmed the wedding news and said, “Yes, it’s true. I was clear that I wanted to tie the knot with a girl of my family’s choice and it’s finally happening with everyone’s blessings.”
“We are 14 years apart (Anas is 38 years old) and, at the moment, are getting to know each other. Heena is a simple girl,” he added.

In July last year, the rumours of Anas’s engagement grabbed headlines, but Anas refuted the buzz and said that he will get married once his popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum goes off air.

Earlier, Anas was rumoured to be in a long-term relationship with Rati Pandey of ‘Hitler Didi’ fame, but the couple allegedly broke-up in February 2014 following disagreements over marriage.
Although the duo was spotted at various events keeping each other company but both, Anas and Rati, preferred to remain tight-lipped about their relationship status and maintained a “We are friends” stance.
All that’s in the past now and we are sure Anas is looking forward to the new phase of his life.
