Television couple Jay Bhanushal and Mahhi Vij became Foster Parents to their house help's kids. They also became parents to their baby girl whom they name Tara. Recently, a section of netizens accused Jay and Mahhi of ignoring their foster kids named Khushi Ray and Rajveer Ray after the birth of their biological kid. They recently penned a long note stating how hurt they are with all the allegations. Now, Ankita Lokhande has come to their defence.
On Insta stories, she shared Jay and Mahhi letter and wrote, "Mahi and jay I hv seen ur love and concern for kids. U hv done a fantastic job as a parenrs to Khushi and Rajveer. I hv seen the selfless love u give to them. So proud of u both so much to learn from u guys." After Ankita penned such kind words for them, Jay Bhanushali reposted her story on his Instagram account expressing gratitude.

An excerpt from the statement that was released by the couple read, "A lot of you have been questioning, a lot of you have been assuming, a lot of you have been writing anything and everything and its just NOT FAIR! Yes we are parents, FOSTER Parents! Tara entered our lives as a beautiful blessing but that doesn’t change our feelings for Khushi and Rajveer." They further added, "When Khushi came into our lives, we became parents but a part of us knows that the decision and the first rights belong to her father and mother." Mahhi and Jay also mentioned that they stay connected to their foster kids through video chats and more and they will always have two homes.
