Ankita opened up about feeling envious when a female choreographer came very close to her former boyfriend Sushant physically, during their time on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4. She recounted an incident when the late actor's choreographer, Shampa, had an intense dance move that involved jumping into Sushant's arms during practice sessions. However, she highlighted her personal growth, mentioning that such trivial matters no longer affect her. Reflecting on her past behavior, she admitted, "Shampa, she was a very good dancer. One day while dancing she jumped in his arms and I was fuming. I was very possessive, it troubled me to see him dance with her. Now I have become calm and normal. But before I used to have a lot of fights in such small things. I used to get angry about everything."
