Anupamaa SPOILER ALERT 1 February 2024: Toshu Questions Anu About Her Whereabouts For The Last 5 Years; Kavya Stands Up To Vanraj

Star Plus’ television serial Anupamaa has been raking in all the love from audiences ever since it started airing in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Aurra Bhatnagar, Sudhanshu Pandey, and others, the show's makers recently introduced a 5-year leap. Today’s episode starts with Anuj hanging up before talking to Anupamaa after recalling Aadhya’s words. Back at the Shah house, Mahi gets ready for school and comes downstairs. Babuji asks her, Ishani, and Ansh to stand together so that he can click a photo. Ansh starts misbehaving with Mahi and Dimpy scolds him. As Vanraj comes there, Mahi goes to him and asks him how she is looking as it is her first day in school. Ansh gets jealous and pushes Mahi to sit on Vanraj’s lap as the latter is his Dada. Ansh starts complaining about Mahi and Ishani going to his school. Dimpy takes them out of the house as their school bus has arrived.
Back in America, Anuj dreams of dancing with Anupamaa and wakes up with a start. He starts thinking about his dream and tries to contact Anu again, but he remembers Aadhya’s threat. On the other hand, Yashdeep drops Anu at Paritosh and Kinjal’s house where the son sees his mother converse with the former. Vanraj questions Kavya about her decision to send Mahi to Ansh’s school. He reminds her that school fees cost a lot. Kavya reassures him that she will be paying for the daughter like always as she has a job now. Pari warmly welcomes Anupamaa in her house. As Pari and Anu bond, Toshu comes there to talk to his mother.
Paritosh asks Anu who came to drop her and she tells him that it was her boss Yashdeep. As Anu praises her boss and his family, Toshu suggests that she shouldn’t be a burden on strangers and that she should come to stay with them. However, Anu refuses the proposal by saying that she doesn’t want to give control of her life to anyone else’s hands. Anu tells him that she will come to meet them and Pari as and when she gets free time. As Anuj is in a dilemma about telling Shruti the truth that his ex-wife Anupamaa is Joshiben’s and breaking the promise he made to Aadhya, Toshu brings Anu coffee. He questions her about what she has been doing for the past 5 years and why she hasn’t been in contact with anyone especially Anuj who has been settled in New York. Anu tells him that she has left behind all her relationships. Anu cries thinking about Anuj, after everyone goes to sleep.
As Kavya schools Vanraj for his thoughts when he suggests that she and Mahi should leave the house and settle somewhere else, a lawyer comes looking for Pakhi. He gives her a letter and leaves. Pakhi opens the letter and gets furious. She tells everyone that Adhik has sent her a legal notice. Baa tells her that this wouldn’t have happened if she had just let Ishani meet Adhik once in a while. Pakhi says that she will never let Adhik meet Ishani or give him their daughter’s custody.
As the episode comes to an end, Anuj brings Shruti coffee and tells her that he needs to talk to her. She tells him that even he wants to talk to him. Shruti shows him their wedding invitation and tells them that her parents have sent it. This leaves Anuj shocked.
