Starring Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Aurra Bhatnagar, Sudhanshu Pandey, and others, Anupamaa is one of the most-watched shows on Star Plus. Produced by Rajan Shahi, the serial has started receiving mixed reactions from viewers due to its repetitive and monotonous storyline. Today’s episode starts with Anuj excusing himself after he gets a call. Shruti brings a hot chocolate for Aadhya. Aadhya recalls Anuj’s words and tells Shruti to call her parents early. She urges Shruti to marry Anuj as soon as possible. She tells her that she wants to be a real family. When Shruti asks her if something is wrong, Aadhya tells her that she wants to make her, her mother. Aadhya thinks she wants to put a stop to the brewing romance between Anuj and Anupamaa.

Back at the Shah house, everyone gathers around for Makar Sankranti celebrations. Ansh and Mahi get into a fight over a kite. Ansh falls down and blames Mahi for pushing him. Pakhi comes there and scolds Mahi. As she is about to slap Mahi, Kavya comes there and stops her. Kavya warns Pakhi not to raise her hand on her daughter. Kavya and Pakhi start bickering when the former tells her that she should have also been slapped in her childhood so that she wouldn’t have become the way she is. Vanraj comes there and Ansh complains to him about Mahi. Mahi tells him that she didn’t. Vanraj scolds Pakhi and tells her to let Dimpy handle the kids. As Aadhys sees Anuj leaving the house, she wonders if he is going out to meet Joshiben. It is then seen that the neighbours identify Tapish as a celebrity. They cheer for him and laud Vanraj after they get to know that Tapish saved Baa from chain snatchers. As Pakhi checks the internet to know why Tapish is so famous, Kavya tells Baa how he has become a celebrity who judges dance shows and also owns a dance school. At Yashpal’s restaurant, Anu gets scared thinking a thief is there, and gets relieved upon seeing Beeji. Aadhya asks Shruti about Anuj’s whereabouts, who tells her that he has gone to pick up the models. Shruti tells Aadhy to cross-check with Anuj’s assistant. The episode comes to an end with Tapish defeating Vanraj in kite flying. As everyone celebrates, Dimpy looks at Tapish and signs him something. Vanraj witnesses this and asks Dimpy what is happening. She tells everyone that Ishani is missing, leaving everyone shocked. On the other hand, Beeji convinces Anupamaa to step out of the restaurant and attend a festival with her. In the upcoming episode, as everyone searches for Ishani, Adhik brings her there, which shocks Pakhi. Anu collides with an unknown man during the Lohri celebrations.
