Star Plus’ most-watched show Anupamaa enjoys a huge fanbase. Starring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna in the lead, the show has kept the audiences hooked because of the high-voltage drama in Anu’s life. Apart from topping the BARC ratings every week, the show also constantly trends on social media. The current storyline focuses on Anupamaa visiting the Shah mansion for her farewell party.

The previous episodes it was seen that Anu gets an invitation about her farewell party from the Shah mansion as well as the Kapadia family. While Anuj’s excitement leaves Maya jealous, Baa and everyone else host a huge function for Anu. In the upcoming episode, we will get to see the Shah family coming together to share Anu’s life story through a dance performance. According to the reports by Telly Chakkar, Maya will lose her sanity when Anu will come back to the Kapadia mansion for her second farewell party. It was informed earlier that in a fit of rage Maya may cause Anu harm, by trying to stab her with a knife. However, Anuj will stop her just in time. He will decide to send her to a mental institute to get her treated. Now, as per recent reports by the portal, Maya will die in a tragic road accident. While details of the same are yet to be revealed, the entertainment portal states that Maya will be declared dead after meeting with an accident. It might put a stop on Anu’s plans of going to the US, as there is a possibility she might stay back to take care of Choti Anu and Anuj.

It will be interesting to watch how the makers of the show plan the upcoming three year leap. Fans have been wanting to know how the makers plan on taking Anu and Anuj’s love story ahead. Will Anupamaa go and settle in the US alone or will Anuj follow her and become her pillar of support again are some of the burning questions the audience is eagerly waiting for.
