Anupamaa SPOILER ALERT 29 December 2023: Aadhya Goes Through An Emotional Breakdown After Meeting Anu; Anuj-Shruti Get Worried
Star Plus’ television serial Anupamaa has been raking in all the love from audiences ever since it started airing in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Apara Mehta, and Gaurav Khanna, the show tops the BARC weekly ratings. However ever since the makers introduced the 5-year leap, the TRP of the show has started to drop. In the last few episodes, it was seen that Anu starts working in a restaurant, Anuj and Choti (now Aadhya) move to America and start their life anew with Shruti. On the other hand, Vanraj vows to keep living for Samar’s son Ansh.

Today’s episode starts with Yashpal questioning his employees on who made masala tea. Anu tells him that she did. Yashpal asks one of his chefs to bring him the tea. He smells it and asks if there is more masala tea left. Instead of listening to her boss, Anu breaks down crying, stating that she will not be making any tea and that she doesn’t have a place to stay if he fires her from the job. Vikram calms her down and asks her to listen to the boss properly. Yashpal tells her that they always wanted to sell masala tea to their customers but the imported tea would often lose its flavour. He tells her to give him the list of ingredients she would need to make the tea. Vikram tells Yashpal that Anu needs to go to get her passport made. Yashpal tells him to take her during the break. On the other hand, proud of Aadhya winning the sports competition, Anuj and Shruti decide to take her to the restaurant. Vikram asks Anu to go to the passport office alone as he is swarmed with work. He gives her the address and money just in case. Anu leaves the restaurant just as Anuj and Shruti enter it. Vikram asks them if they want to try the masala tea that was introduced on the menu today. They order two cups. Anuj drinks it and starts remembering about Anu. Aadhya comes face to face with Anu and gets shocked after they collide. Anu tells her sorry and she rushes inside the restaurant. She hugs Anuj and demands they go back home. Back at the Shah house, Vanraj reminds Dimpy that she doesn’t need to go outside that house for anything and that her place is in the house. This leaves Dimpy devastated. Aadhya has an emotional breakdown after reaching home and she locks herself in the room. Anuj thinks that this happened with Choti when Anu left them and they came to America. Shruti enquires about Aadhya’s well-being and Anuj tells her not to worry. It will be interesting to see how the future episodes of the show will progress. Will Aadhya bring Anu and Anuj closer or vow to forever keep them apart?
