Apna Time Bhi Ayega: Tannaz Irani Says She Was Replaced 'Without Discussion' Over A Random Call
Tannaz Irani talks about being replaced in the show Apna Time Bhi Ayega after she raised queries over shoot shifting to Goa
Due to the strict lockdown in Maharashtra amidst the rising cases of Coronavirus, the shooting of many shows have come to a halt. Some of the producers came up with a solution and moved the shooting base of the show to Goa where the cases are low as compared to Maharashtra. The shooting of the show Apna Time Bhi Ayega also moved to Goa. However, this change cost Tannaz Irani her role in the show. As per the latest reports, she has been replaced. In a latest interview, she revealed what exactly transpired between the producers and her leading to her getting replaced.
Tannaz Irani revealed that it happened over a random call. She mentioned that she raised a few apprehensions regarding the shooting base shifting to Goa and then there were no discussions further. She shared, "The production house texted everyone, enquiring whether we would be available to shoot, but without mentioning other details like accommodation and duration of the stay. I told them that I was not sure about travelling, but was open to a discussion. However, there was no discussion.”
She stated that it was a big decision to go to Goa amidst pandemic as she has two kids but she didn't even say no upfront. "It was a random call; they told me that I was required to shoot every day, as my character is pivotal. They went on to add that they have thought it through and since I can’t travel to Goa, they are replacing me. I am shocked and confused. If something like this can happen with a senior artiste like me, I can only imagine the state of newcomers. I have been replaced and I can’t do anything about it," she further added.
