Arunita Kanjilal Will NOT Be Invited To The Music Launch Of Her Upcoming Song 'Fursat' With Pawandeep Rajan For THIS Reason
If reports are to be believed, Arunita Kanjilal will be kept out of the music launch of her upcoming song 'Fursat' with Pawandeep Rajan
Arunita Kanjilal, who was the runner-up of Indian Idol 12, has been making headlines lately for controversial reasons. Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita's song Fursat's teaser dropped yesterday, and it received an amazing response. However, as per a report in ETimes, Arunita is being kept out from the music launch event which will happen on December 16. It is reported that her presence can shift the entire focus to her recent controversy of refusing to do Raj Surani's song.
ETimes quoted a source saying, "The media is most likely to ask her why she refused to shoot another song with Pawandeep. This is the last thing that the song maker, Team Raj Surani, wants at the occasion that will unveil his next work. Moreover, Raj wants Arunita's replacement Chitra Shukla to be under the spotlight and not Arunita; the media attention being on Arunita can push Chitra into the background."
For the uninitiated, Raj Surani felt cheated when Arunita Kanjilal opted out from featuring in his second song. He revealed that she had agreed to do not just two but three songs with Pawandeep but she exited at the last minute. Well, it all might be due to the long chain of events wherein her equation with Pawandeep was questioned. Arunita and Pawandeep's love story angle reportedly did not go down well with her parents.
Talking about Fursat, it features Pawandeep and Chitra Shukla. Directed by Raj Surani, it is sung by Pawandeep and Arunita. Sharing the teaser, Pawandeep wrote, "Yeh toh sirf promo hain, full video Abhi baki hai. Fursat is my favouite song." A fan dropped a comment saying, "Very excited for #fursat Hamari Best Wishes Aapke Sath Hai Hamare Rockstar." Another wrote, "Be it singing or acting.. you rock always.. Stay blessed."
