Asha Negi Expresses Concern Over The Mental Health Of People During COVID-19 Crisis; 'People Around Me Are Losing Their Shit'
Baarish actress Asha Negi recently shared her views on mental health and how the tough times due to COVID-19 crisis are affecting people around her. The discussion over Mental Health has gained momentum due to the untimely demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Reports suggest that Sushant was suffering from depression for the past six months. A lot of people are talking about mental illness now and trying to spread awareness.

In her recent interview, Asha Negi spoke about how the pandemic, the lockdown and the issues that have come with it are stressing people out. To Hindustan Times, she was quoted saying, "These are very uncertain times. When it comes to the atmosphere around, I’m concerned about the well being and mental health of people in our industry. Everyone is at home and wondering what will happen next. So many people around me are losing their sh*t. They just want this to end and get out to normal life.”

When further probed how she is dealing with the lockdown, the actress said, "Everyone is feeling a bit low and whatever the reason is for me, I’m fine. I’ve been talking to my friends. That’s all I can say. This situation would’ve been really difficult for me had I been a people person. Fortunately, I love being alone. I love my own company.”
