Disha Parmar plays Priya in the new season of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain
Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 has managed to keep its viewers hooked with the ongoing Ram-Priya wedding track. The second season of this very popular show is headlined by Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar. The latter is being particularly liked by the audiences for her portrayal of a girl, who has lost all hopes to find love in life. Disha on her part says that she relates to Priya’s point of view on certain things. In fact, people on sets often refer to her as Priya, not Disha.
She said, “I do actually resonate with my character a lot. She is very relatable and her point of view on certain things really matches my thinking. There are times where I feel, 'Oh, my God, Priya is extreme'. In fact, people on the sets sometimes say that Disha is Priya, Priya is Disha. So, yes, we are pretty similar.” Further about the show, Disha added, “They [Ram and Priya] got married for the sake of their families, but slowly and steadily, they fall in love with each other. So, what is it going to be like for Priya, who is from a humble background, to go and live in this huge house with fancy people?"
Just like the viewers, Disha is all excited about how the story unfolds in the upcoming days. “I think it's going to be fun to watch all of that. I am looking forward to it.”
Disha had earlier compared her real-life marriage to that of the show's. She said, “Ram and Priya get married for their family, to make them happy. My wedding too happened with the right intentions and for the right reasons. So in this way, yes, both the weddings have a connect.”
