Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2: Nakuul Mehta Feels Surreal To Reunite With Disha Parmar; Says ‘There Is A Sense Of Comfort That We Share’

Even though it is the second season of Bade Acche Lagte Hain and people are familiar with the concept, the makers of the show still promise to give its audience a fresh story that will keep them hooked to watch the show. Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar have been roped in as the new Ram and Priya, and fans are pretty excited to see them together again on screen. Considering that the two have previously worked in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, fans have witnessed and loved their chemistry before.
As Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar are reuniting with each other in BALH 2, the former feels it is ‘surreal’. Talking about this reunion with Pinkvilla, he said, “It’s quite surreal. In fact, we both had met a few months ago, and back then we hadn't even heard about the show. We had just casually spoken about working together again - we have both matured as actors and human beings. However, we had no idea that this was in the offering in the near future.”
He added, “So when she called me saying that, ‘Hey, we are going to be doing this together I think’, I was like this is going to be a lot of fun. There is a sense of comfort that we share. Over the years, we have kept in touch, and there is mutual respect and friendship that kind of makes life easier because on the first day of the shoot you don’t have to go and break the ice. It feels organic and natural, and I think that is beautiful.”
Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar made the first season of Bade Acche Lagte Hain a successful venture. The second season is about new Ram and Priya who are in their mid-30s and get married despite knowing nothing about each other. How they fall in love is yet to be witnessed in the second season - which is set to air on August 30 on Sony TV.
