Ekta Kapoor’s announcement on beginning the search for Mr Bajaj made huge noise on social media. Several names like Hiten Tejwani, Eijaz Khan, Samir Kochhar, Iqbal Khan, Karan Wahi and Karan Singh Grover were in the running. Eventually, SpotboyE.com revealed that Karan Singh Grover will be seen stepping into Ronit Roy’s shoes. Now, we have also discovered that actors like Arjun Rampal and Milind Soman were approached to essay the iconic role, but nothing materialised on that front.
Ekta Kapoor's remake of Kasautii Zindagii Kay is doing quite well on the TRP chart. The wait for Mr Bajaj is highly awaited by the viewers. Ever since she announced this amazing news, several names from world of TV were being speculated to step into Roy’s shoes. A source close to the show told us that Ekta had approached the handsome hunks of Bollywood, Arjun Rampal and Milind Soman. Unfortunately, nothing materialised on that front. Meanwhile, when the real Mr Bajaj was asked about KSG stepping into his shoes, he replied by saying, “I’m very happy for Karan bagging the role of Bajaj. I think he’ll do a great job. My good wishes are with him. May he and kzk2 attain much greater heights of popularity than I did.”
