Recently, Ekta Kapoor’s announcement on beginning the hunt for Mr Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 grabbed headlines. Sharing an old video of Ronit Roy as Mr Bajaj from the first part, Ekta wrote on social media, “The time has come ! To say bye to @ronitboseroy as d iconic mr bajaj ! N d search for d new one@begins! I have cast ( n not ‘casted’ As someone told me) Ronit in many roles but this remains our most iconic one together @iam_ejf @the_parthsamthaan @realhinakhan @poojabanerjeee @subhavi all have been perfect as anurag Prerna komo Nivi .. willl bajaj match up( hmmmm)”.
Ever since she made the announcement, several names are being considered to play the iconic character which was earlier essayed by Ronit Roy in Season 1. However, SpotboyE.com has the final three names who have been shortlisted and they include Samir Kocchar, Eijaz Khan and Iqbal Khan. However, no one has been locked yet. But if all goes well, Ekta will finalise Mr Bajaj by end of the week.
The reboot version of Kasautii Zindagii Kay has been winning hearts of the viewers. The romantic saga starring Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes and Hina Khan has climbed up the TRP charts, all thanks to the dramatic and entertaining episodes. Hina has left her own impression as Komolika while Parth and Erica have impressed fans with their sizzling chemistry. And now as Hina is making an exit from the show due to her film commitments, Ekta plans on introducing Mr Bajaj at the right time.
