Sporadic twists and turns in the game have bewildered even the masterminds at the Bigg Boss 12 house. Bigg Boss again amuses the housemates this week in the nomination process. Instead of nominating their fellow contestants, everyone has to give names of those they want to save from eliminations. Deepak Thakur being the Captain is given a special power to save one contestant of his choice from the nominated ones.
While the nomination process brings in a lot of tension amongst the contestants, many have a change of heart and finally decide to fight their own battles. Forgetting the negatives and lighting up with love, Deepak is seen falling for Somi Khan. He hasn't been able to hide his feelings for Somi. The entire house becomes aware of this and starts teasing Deepak. Surbhi Rana even asks Deepak to confess his love and Deepak daringly takes the challenge, but is soon heartbroken as Somi friendzones him, without even a thought.

Further viewers get to see Megha Dhade and Dipika Kakar bonding with each other and strategising. However, Romil Chaudhary, Surbhi and Somi soon become aware of their intentions. Srishty Rode and Shivashish Mishra are also seen clearing their differences and becoming friends. Seeing everyone patch up, Urvashi Vani also tries to sort her issues with Deepak, but he remains cold.

To spice up things even further, Bigg Boss announces another task - The Ranking Task, where the safe contestants have to rank the others from a scale of 1 to 9 – 1 being the most deserving contestant to stay in the house and 9 the least deserving. This task too leads to a lot of angst and argument among the contestants but they unanimously try to come to a conclusion.
