A short while back we told you that Jasleen Matharu refrained from sharing bed with Anup Jalota in Bigg Boss 12. She opted for one of the single beds much to Anup’s disappointment. Jasleen and Anup’s vichitra Jodi has made them 2 of the hottest contestants on the reality show. Their age difference (Anup is almost twice in age to Jasleen) has sent the show’s superstar judge Salman Khan, it’s contestants and even the world wide web, into a tizzy.

Now, Jasleen’s father, Kesar Matharu has opened up about his daughter’s much talked about relationship with the popular bhajan singer. Kesar, a film director by profession has come out with a statement, defending his daughter.

"I am not at all disturbed by the online bashing. She is a trained singer and had done various stage shows with many popular Bollywood singers. We belong to a very reputed family and my daughter is already a prominent figure in the industry and there is no point of seeking cheap publicity," said Kesar.

“This news was a shocker for me as well as for my family. However, I don’t want to comment anything on her personal life till I meet her. She is on the Bigg Boss 12 house and want her to stay positive and emerge as the winner of the show," added Jasleen’s father.




Bigg Boss 12 contestant, and Padma Shree awardee, Anup Jalota entered the house with his girlfriend Jasleen Matharu on Sunday evening and all hell broke loose. At 28, Jasleen is almost half in age to the popular ghazal singer.
