Bigg Boss 13: Asim Riaz's Brother Umar Says, ‘Sidharth Shukla's Eviction Is Not The Solution, He Deserves Harsh Punishment Inside’- EXCLUSIVE
Sidharth Shukla's fight with Asim Riaz in last night's episode of Bigg Boss 13 has started trends like #EvictSidharthShukla and so on. So, we got talking to his brother Umar Riaz and here's what he had to say
Since last night, fans of Asim Riaz have taken the internet by storm after Sidharth Shukla's violent behaviour against him. In yesterday's episode, during the captaincy task, we saw the two getting into an ugly spat yet again. Sidharth aggressively pushed Asim and his hot-headed behaviour got netizens talking. Trends like #EvictSidharthShukla have taken over social media. So we decided to speak with Asim's brother Umar Riaz on Sidharth's misconduct and also the trend of demanding his eviction.
Speaking exclusively to SpotboyE.com, Umar said, "This game requires willpower and mental strength and it should be played with calmness. Getting physical on every damn thing shows how weak you are from within. And Sidharth Shukla is doing just that. I think he has completely lost it. Sidharth has become so insecure that even when he was asked to choose one bag, he pushed Asim so badly so that he didn't take out the other bag. This is just because Asim has more number of friends than him. On the other hand, Sidharth is trying to earn support from Paras Chhabra and Mahira Sharma who always defamed him. In the nomination task, when Sidharth chose Mahira over him, his only intention was to put Asim down. His bad demeanour only shows how he is behaving like a spoilt brat whereas Asim is behaving mature even if he is younger to him."
When asked if he wants Sidharth to be evicted from the show for hurting his brother, he says, "Sidharth's eviction is not the solution. Because in this season, I can see people are going out and then coming back in. In fact, I would demand some serious action against him being in the game. He should get some harsh punishment like direct nomination until he is inside or make him do the entire household work alone.”
Meanwhile, a petition has also been signed by around 500 people under change.org. The petition has filed against the makers of the show and the channel, claiming that they are being biased towards Sidharth Shukla. It is mentioned in the contract that no violent behaviour will be tolerated, and hence, the supporters of Asim Riaz want Sidharth Shukla to be out of the show.
Even in the past, Sidharth has been punished and nominated for two straight weeks because he acted aggressively in a given task. The petition has been filed by a Bigg Boss 13 viewer who wrote, "I am writing this petition regarding physical violence going on in the show by one contestant(Siddharth Shukla). According to the contract of Bigg Boss by Endemol India, a person can't be physical with anyone during the show. However, this guy got physical and violently push several other contestants."
