Bigg Boss 13 fame Shehnaaz Gill has been shooting for her upcoming music video with singer-rapper Badshah. The actress is shooting in the beautiful and serene Kashmir. Since a few days, Shehnaaz has also treated her fans with pictures from the location. Some time ago, Sana shared a video of her dancing on the song Bhumro in Kashmir. However, it did not go down well for a section of social media users. Even though being one of the most popular and loved faced on the internet, Shehnaaz got trolled and was called out for cultural appropriation.

On Twitter, the former Bigg Boss contestant shared the video and tweeted, “When in Kashmir do it Their way! Had to dance on this epic song at the heaven on earth...#Kashmir.” She added a red heart emoji to the post as well. Sharing the video, Shehnaaz mentioned that since she is in Kashmir, she had to perform on the song Bhumro from Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta's film Mission Kashmir.  The video features scenes capturing the beautiful snow-clad mountains, landscapes and more from Kashmir. While fans were in love with Shehnaaz’s overall look and performance, a section of social media users did not appreciate the gesture. One user commented, “Quite beautiful but this isn’t us . This doesn’t represent Kashmir the heaven on earth,” and another user wrote, “cultural appropriation 101”. One also wrote, “Cancer for eyes trigger warning hi dai detay.”

Meanwhile, in the video, Shehnaaz Gill looks beyond beautiful. She looks ethereal dressed up in a colourful outfit accessorized with lots of junk jewellery. As the Bigg Boss 13 fame got trolled on the internet, this is not the first time something of these sorts has happened to a celebrity.
