It was during acid-attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal’s entry inside the Bigg Boss 13 house that she asked all the housemates to open up on their biggest fears and ordeal. Among many others, Arti Singh, too, confessed her nightmare and said that she survived a rape attempt long time back. However, in a conversation with Pinkvilla, her brother Krushna Abhishek has refuted her claims and said that the accused never attempted rape on her and ran away. Her sister-in-law Kashmera Shah, on the other hand, had issued a fierce warning against the abused.
Comedian Krushna Abhishek was quoted as saying, “Wo flow flow mein kuch zyada hi keh gayi. Uspe kisi tareeke ka attempt nahi hua tha. Uspe attempt hone wala tha aur wo ladka bhaag gaya. Uspe FIR bhi hui thi. Fir uska koi ata pata nahi tha, police ne bhi dhundne ki koshish ki. (She said a bit too much in flow. There was no such attempt on her, it was about to happen and the boy ran away. An FIR was also filed but he could not be traced even after police tried to search for him).”
While Kashmera, in her interview with TOI, had revealed, “We were shocked, as all I wanted to do was to protect her. I am somebody who fights against issues like these and I can't take these things lightly. Obviously, I would have chased that man and cut his d***. But I feel helpless that I am outside and she is currently locked inside the house. But I am waiting for her to come out and I am waiting to take some action.”
Meanwhile, it is being believed that Arti Singh is the first contestant to be ousted from the Bigg Boss 13 grand finale race.
