Is that one way to look at what happened inside the premises of Bigg Boss 13’s set erected at Film City, Goregaon, yesterday? Certainly not, I beg to differ with Manveer Gurjar here. Nothing, absolutely nothing, justifies Sidharth Shukla taking down Shehnaaz Gill with the force of his manly might, his hands arresting Shehnaaz and his leg pushed against her stomach, locking her in place. The brutal pain visible on her face – didn’t look like she was enjoying it, Manveer!

“Na wo Shehnaaz Dil Par Leti Hai, Na Wo Sidharth Dil Par Leta Hai, Toh Aap Log (Fans) Dil Par Kyun Lete Ho?” reads Manveer’s post. We really hope you didn’t see the video in question properly because if you have and this is how you interpret it, ie, shrugging it off as a meethi nok-jhok, there’s something wrong there. The post doesn’t end there, it continues, “So guys chill and enjoy the journey of #SidNaaz, Rishon Main Namak Bhi Zaroori Hai.” Chill? Our state of mind right now is quite the contrary. We were not OK with Kabir Singh slapping the living day lights out of Preeti and NO, we are not okay with Sidharth Shukla taking down a girl in that crude and violent fashion. And showing it on national TV?? That’s the worst. Naysayers will hit back with a ‘but she started it, she asked for it’ argument. That’s a road we don’t want to tread because we know the nasty places it has led us to in the past. And a right two wrongs never made!
