Bigg Boss 13's Shefali Jariwala Shares About Her Failed Marriage With Composer Harmeet Singh; 'Not Every Kind Of Violence Is Physical'

Bigg Boss 13 saw Shefali Jariwala as a wild card contestant. She entered the show mid-way, however, she could not stay till the finale. However, with the success of the show, every contestant managed to reach a great amount of fame. The Kanta Laga girl too managed to grab a lot of fame with her stint. Now, in her recent interview, she has opened up about her failed marriage. Before tying the knot with Parag Tyagi, she was married to composer Harmeet Singh.
To Times Now, she spoke about not being in a happy space when married to Harmeet. She said, "It is very important to understand that you are not being appreciated. Not every kind of violence is physical. There is a lot of mental violence that also happens and you are very unhappy in your life." She further added that she could take a decision to file for a divorce as she was independent.
The lady was quoted saying, "I think, one of the reasons why I could make the decision for myself, was because I was independent. I was making my own money. The biggest fear in our country that we have is of the society. Divorce is considered to be taboo but the way I have been raised is to not really care about society but just do what we feel is right. I could take such steps in my life and had strong support.”
Shefali Jariwala is now happily married to Television actor Parag Tyagi and they often share relationship goals with their PDA on social media.
