Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik and her husband Abhinav Shukla were declared as the best Jodi of the show by viewers. Abhinav had also made an appreciation post for his wife on Instagram. However, once upon a time, things were not so great between the TV couple. During the show, Rubina had revealed that her marriage with Abhinav had hit the rough patch and they might have been divorced if it was not for the show. In an interview now, Abhinav shared the reason behind it.
When RJ Siddharth Kannan questioned Abhinav Shukla what was the reason behind Rubina and his decision of seeking a divorce, his answer was shocking. And, it would surely leave anyone in splits. Abhinav replied and said, “Well, if I honestly tell you, you will laugh. I forgot to bring her coffee. I am not kidding.” The actor revealed that the funny reason behind Rubina and him thinking they might get a divorce was because he forgot to bring her coffee.
While Abhinav shared what exactly went wrong between the Bigg Boss 14 winner and him, he explained further, “See, there were things. We are two very strong individuals. We have very strong opinions aur dono ki soch aapne toh dekh hi liya hoga Bigg Boss mein, alag-alag hai. Toh jab woh soch clash hoti hai, sparks fly. Lockdown was a difficult phase for everyone, and so it was for us. We gave ourselves six months.”
Meanwhile, Abhinav Shukla said that he and his wife had decided that if things do not get fine between them, they would end their marriage. But eventually, after entering Bigg Boss 14 and staying together in the house, the couple changed their opinions for one another. Speaking of Rubina’s big win, the actress took home the trophy and prize money. After reaching home, she enjoyed a fun-filled and well-planned victory party organized by her dear husband Abhinav Shukla.
