Akanksha Puri, who recently quit her ongoing mythological show Vighnaharhta Ganesha, was rumoured to be participating in Bigg Boss 14. Though the actress maintained that she is not doing the show but media reports always claimed her to be one of the final contestants. However, this speculation has cost a lot to the actress as we hear that Akanksha has to lose out on projects because of these rumours.
Akanksha, who was playing Devi Parvati in the show, entertained and won the hearts of her fans for 3 long years. And recently, resigned from the show as she is looking for enhancing and exploring her artistic talent and wants to showcase her skills at the forefront, taking up protean roles. Nevertheless, the speculations about Akanksha dropping out of Vighnaharta Ganesh for Bigg Boss 14 started booming rapidly to which the actress claimed to be absolutely baseless. According to sources, she even lost 2 big projects coming up her way due to the groundless assumptions. Recently, in one of the Instagram live sessions the actress stated, "I did quit Vighnaharta Ganesh, but there's nothing joyful about it. Yes! I am excited for a new journey to begin. To explore and pull off my characters. Who knows what life will show us next. But these baseless speculations are extremely troublesome. I haven't quit the show for Bigg Boss. I can never quit Vighnaharta Ganesh for anything as it was and always will be the closest to my heart. But yes, I do want to take up more challenging and versatile roles as I believe that I have much more to offer to my fans."
