Bigg Boss 14 Challenger Arshi Khan, 'I Told KRK To Apologise To Salman Khan And Not Take The Controversy Ahead'- EXCLUSIVE
Arshi Khan, the former Bigg Boss contestant, speaks on the recent KRK-Salman Khan controversy and expresses that KRK should bury the matter
Bigg Boss 3 contestant and so-called movie reviewer Kamaal R Khan is surrounded by legal trouble after Bollywood superstar Salman Khan filed a defamation case against him. Kamaal R Khan took to Twitter to share a picture of the notice sent to him by Salman Khan’s legal team, and claimed that they have sued him for his review of Salman Khan starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. After which a lot of celebrities came out in support of Salman Khan.
Now, Arshi Khan whom we recently saw in Bigg Boss 14 as a challenger shared her opinion on the whole matter. In fact, she went on revealing that she tried to correct KRK, in fact suggested to apologise to Salman and end the matter.
When we asked Arshi Khan about the Salman Khan-KRK controversy she said, "KRK is my very good friend and Salman sahab is someone I always look up to. He has always appreciated me. I admire his showbiz career, and all the love and concern he had for me while my Bigg Boss stay. I told KRK to apologise to Salman sir and not take the controversy ahead. And stay happy in his life. But he didn't listen to me. I tried my best to wash away all the negativity from his mind."
Arshi also said that she supports Salman Khan in the matter while adding, "I support Salman sahab. But also for sure I want to stay away from this issue between them. Both of them are mature enough to handle it on their own. It's just that in their fight, a lot others will take advantage and make matters worse."
Though KRK said that he was sued for his review, Salman Khan's legal team DSK in their released statement clarified that the defamation case has nothing to do with the movie (Radhe) review done by him, "Mr Kamaal R Khan, the Defendant, has put out a series of tweets and videos alleging that Mr Salman Khan has sued him for defamation because the Defendant reviewed the film, Radhe. This is incorrect. “Defendant has been spreading malicious falsehoods and defaming Mr Salman Khan consistently over several months, clearly with a view to draw attention to himself. Mr Kamaal R. Khan’s lawyer made a statement in Court today that Mr Kamaal R. Khan ‘will not put any remarks of defamatory nature against the plaintiff on social media till next date’. The Hon’ble Court has been pleased to pass an order taking into account this statement made by Mr Kamaal R. Khan’s lawyer,” the statement further read.
