Bigg Boss 14: Devoleena Bhattacharjee Talks About Life Post Father's Demise; Says Society Looks Down Upon Families That Don't Have The Presence Of A Father
Devoleena Bhattacharjee who was a part of Bigg Boss 13 has entered the latest season of the controversial show as Eijaz Khan's proxy. Ever since she has marked the entry in the Bigg Boss 14 house, she has been creating headlines for her fights and more. Recently, Devoleena got a little emotional though and spoke about her family struggling post the demise of her father. In the show, Devoleena stated that society tries to belittle a family without the presence of the father.

The Saath Nibhana Saathiya shared that her father passed away when she was very young and after that, her mother had to struggle a lot. "I was eleven years when we lost our dad. My mother was also unwell, but she went to office, prepared food for us. And we would go to school. The way they treated us without our father….It is the fact of life, if there is no father…Our society looks down upon families where father is not present," she shared.

She even spoke about her brother who is no more. He passed away at a very young age. Devoleena shared, "My brother was playing with a few boys, and one of the boys who was on the cycle fell. The remaining boys put the blame on my brother. The boy, who had fallen, his aunty came and gave two slaps to my brother while I was standing at the gate and watching everything." She then recalled that the aunty came home post the incident and slammed the door so hard that her grandmother's finger got hurt.

As she spoke about the struggle her family had to to go through, fans of Devoleena sent her support through social media.
