Bigg Boss 14: Eijaz Khan On Not Making It To The Finals; ‘I Deserved To Be A Bigg Boss Finalist’
With the Bigg Boss 14 finale inching closer, Eijaz Khan, whose proxy on the show, Devoleena Bhattacharjee was evicted from the show shares his thoughts on not making it to the finals. The actor said he deserved to be a finalist
The Bigg Boss 14 finale is inching closer. And, viewers and fans are eagerly waiting for host Salman Khan to announce the name of the winner. Amidst all that, BB 14 contestant Eijaz Khan was one contestant who witnessed an abrupt end when he had to leave mid-way due to work commitments. After Eijaz’s exit, Bigg Boss 13’s Devoleena Bhattacharjee entered the show as Eijaz’s proxy. It was recently when Devoleena was evicted, making it impossible for Eijaz to be a part of the finalists. In an interview now, Eijaz shared his thoughts on not making it to the finals.
Speaking with ETimes, the Kkavyanjali actor said he deserved to be a finalist and mentioned he wanted to be the person to switch off the lights of the Bigg Boss 14 house. Expressing his thoughts on not making it as one of the finalists, Eijaz Khan said, “There are different reasons why my journey inside the Bigg Boss house came to an end sooner than anyone expected. I really thought, with all humility, I deserved to be a Bigg Boss finalist! Agar mujhse ya kisi aur se bhi poocho, they all saw me as a finalist. I wanted to be the person jo Bigg Boss ki lights ko switch off kare. My heart really broke when I couldn't be one of the show finalists."
Eijaz Khan added, "The makers of the show will always keep the show's interest the highest priority. I finished off my work on February 6 and the makers knew about it. So even though, as much as I would have liked to be inside the house, I would still have to finish the quarantine period and then there would have been hardly any days left for the show to end.” The actor continued to share how there were millions of fans and supporters who wrote to him daily, asking him to re-enter. Eijaz mentioned feeling disappointed. He said, “Agar mere haath mein hota toh main darwaze ke aage tent laga ke baith jaata. I was feeling so disappointed. I am a producer's actor and so I knew their dillemma. They had built my brand, from the Bigg Boss show's perspective."
Meanwhile, Eijaz Khan has managed to stay in touch and connected with his fans on Instagram. He constantly shares pictures and gives everyone a glimpse of what’s happening around him. The ex Bigg Boss 14 contestant recently shared a video of him as he followed the ‘Pawri Ho Rahi Hai’ trend.
