Bigg Boss 14: Evicted Contestant Jaan Kumar Sanu In Response To Being Called A Nepo-Kid, ‘Apart From The Name, There Is Nothing Else Kumar Sanu Has Given Us’
Budding singer and recently evicted contestant of TV reality show Bigg Boss 14, Jaan Kumar Sanu was targeted in the house terming him as the product of nepotism. Singer and fellow housemate Rahul Vaidya, during one of the tasks had slammed and indulged in a verbal spat with Jaan, by calling him a product of nepotism, as he is the son of the iconic singer Kumar Sanu. In conversation with Pinkvilla, he made an explosive comment over this tag in relation to his father.  
 
Evicted BB14 housemate mentioned being Kumar Sanu’s son has undermined his talent, further clearing the misconception of people that because he is a singer's son also in the similar profession, he doesn’t find it hard to get work. He said, “Being his son undermines my talent a lot. It weighs my talent down a lot. There's this misconception that people have around me, which is about nepotism. Everyone feels I would get work easily because I'm Kumar Sanu's son and that people are waiting to hire me. But that's not true.”

Further crediting his mother for whatever he has achieved so far, he also clearly mentions of not receiving any support from his father till date. He says, “I have lot to achieve from here onwards but whatever I have done so far, is all because of my mother. My dad has not supported me till date and I wanted to clarify this with all.”


Speaking about his father’s popularity, he shared besides his father’s name attached to him, there is nothing else that this father-son duo share between them. “His name is a very big thing for me; I'm fortunate I can call myself his son.
