Bigg Boss 14: Pavitra Punia On Devoleena Bhattacharjee's Game As Eijaz Khan’s Proxy: ‘What She’s Doing Is Completely Opposite Of What Eijaz’s Image Is’

A few weeks ago, Eijaz Khan had to leave Bigg Boss 14 house due to his work commitments, and Devoleena Bhattacharjee entered as his proxy. Eijaz is expected to return to the BB house, but in the meantime, Devoleena has been filling in for him inside the house. A few days ago, Devoleena was seen flying into a rage after Arshi Khan’s remarks, and she was also furious at Rubina Dilaik. Devoleena lost control of her emotions and was seen breaking stuff inside the house. Pavitra Punia, in a recent interview, commented about the same and said whatever she is doing in the house, is totally opposite of what Eijaz’s image is.
While speaking to ETimes, Pavitra Punia said, "When the makers had roped in Devoleena as Eijaz's proxy, I knew she would be able to do justice to Eijaz's position.” She said that when she had watched Devoleena’s season, Devo was doing really well in the game, but couldn’t continue due to her back problem. “But if we watch the game show now, going by Eijaz's image, whatever she is doing is completely opposite of what Eijaz's image is. Eijaz has mostly been quiet and has not been violent the way she has been in the recent episode. Eijaz ne ghar ko kabhi bhi nuksaan nahi pahunchaya,” said Pavitra.
However, Pavitra also added that Devoleena is giving really good content, and that by doing this ‘tod-phod’ she is going to be in the show, which would mean Eijaz remains in the show. “Whatever, she has done, it is like giving food for thought to the audience, about her next move. Eijaz is alive in the house and apne ko sirf utna hi matlab hai,” said Pavitra.
Devoleena Bhattacharjee was seen losing her calm after Arshi Khan’s remarks, and Devoleena’s mother, while speaking to SpotboyE exclusively, said that she was extremely disturbed to see her that way. “She is not this aggressive in real life. But Arshi and Rubina's behaviour has instigated her, it seems. But whatever the reason is, throwing and breaking things in the house is not right,” she said.
