Bigg Boss 14 Rumoured Contestant Eijaz Khan Shares His Lockdown Experience: 'Pandemic Felt Like Therapy'
Eijaz Khan talks about how he dealt with his emotions during the lockdown. Read ahead to know what he has to say
Actor Eijaz Khan, who is also reported to be participating in Bigg Boss 14 this year, opened up about his lockdown experience. The actor who was staying all alone in his house during the entire lockdown says that the pandemic caused by the Coronavirus troubled him mentally at first.
"I think many people must have been mentally disturbed because of the problems during the lockdown and they should be counseled. I cried many times in the first month because I couldn't see the condition of the workers going back home. The last few days gave me an opportunity to introspect which proved very useful for me. I was also depressed a lot. Because I could not talk more openly, I started living by myself. I was quiet. There was no account of hours and I was busy on social media all the time," said Eijaz. Eijaz then said that he felt that it was necessary to have a routine. He started interacting daily with his friends and family members, exchanging food with neighbors and although he is not very religious, he started praying five times a day. He says, "Praying is like meditation for me. I continued this even after the lockdown was over because it gives me great relief. Eijaz also became the foster parent of two pet dogs during the lockdown. He lost two of his pets in a year. He said, "I brought a female dog home and named her Blossom. When I found her, she was in poor condition. She was tied on the highway for two weeks and had maggots all over her body. She was in great need of love but truly she saved me. Taking care of her made every difficulty easier."
