Bigg Boss 14’s Nikki Tamboli Reveals Rubina Dilaik’s Was Very ‘Caring’ When She Tested COVID-19 Positive; Shares, ‘Rubina And I Were Planning A Short Trip Somewhere’

Bigg Boss 14’s Nikki Tamboli and Rubina Dilaik were seen bonding quite a lot on the show. Initially, the two contestants did not fancy each other much and often fought. However, after Nikki returned to the show post her eviction, she had a change of heart towards Rubina and her husband Abhinav Shukla. Since then, Rubina and Nikki have maintained their strong bond. After the grand finale of Bigg Boss 14, they were often spotted hanging out at parties together as well.
Speaking with ETimes, Nikki Tamboli opened up about her friendship bond with Rubina Dilaik. Tamboli shared how Rubina cared for her when she had tested COVID-19 positive and mentioned she would often call to check up on her. She revealed she was ‘touched by her concern’. Talking about the same, Nikki said, “After I tested positive for COVID-19, Rubina would call me often to check up on me. When I was home quarantined, she used to give me advice on the healthy things that I should eat that would help me recover from the virus. She would ask me if I was drinking kadha and if I need any help. She was very caring and I was touched by her concern.”
The Bigg Boss 14 fame also revealed that Rubina and she were planning a trip together somewhere. However, Nikki added that she is not sure if they might head out given the spike in COVID-19 positive cases and the restrictions in the state. She said, “Rubina and I were planning a short trip somewhere, but I don't know if it’s happening anymore given the current pandemic situation. At times, we even talk about each other's work to know what are we doing.” Tamboli shared what Rubina and she bond on apart from work. She added, “Apart from work, we talk about shopping (laughs!). A while back, we both were in Chandigarh for some personal work, but we made some time to meet each other. We went shopping and had lots of good food. It was such a fun time.”
