During his Bigg Boss 14 stint, Rahul Vaidya’s personal life started making headlines as he proposed to his girlfriend Disha Parmar on National Television, on her birthday. It was on Valentine's Day, when Disha entered the house and seized Rahul’s heart by accepting the marriage proposal. While Rahul was fighting hard to win the trophy inside the Bigg Boss house, Rahul’s mother Geeta Vaidya had confirmed to a media portal that they are gearing for a monsoon wedding in June, this year. Soon after Rahul emerged as the first runner-up of Bigg Boss 14, his victory was followed by a family get-together.

Some time back, Disha Parmar took to her Insta account and shared a couple of pictures from the bash. The first photo sees Rahul and Disha posing for a lovey-dovey photo while gazing into the camera. For the bash, Rahul, who’s seen hugging his girlfriend Disha, donned red co-ordinates, while Disha, on the other hand, looked pretty in a blue and black polka dot dress. Disha let’s her hair down and had minimal makeup and a big ‘Love’ hair clip in the hair. In the caption box, Disha called Rahul winner and wrote, “My Winner is home.”

Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Rahul reacted to his mother’s comment about his wedding. He said, “If my mother has said that the wedding will happen in June then definitely it has to be in June. My mom has left for home but Disha is still waiting outside for me and once we are together we will have a discussion about marriage. You all will be definitely come for the wedding and you will get to know."

Also, when he was asked about how he realised that he’s in love with Disha Parmar, he told the portal, “I realised each and every emotion and relationship when I was inside the house. I would remember the person who would cook food for me at my house to every bond, relation and friend inside the BB 14 house. I realised that there is this beautiful person, girl Disha in my life, why not marry her. So that's why I proposed to her on national television.
