Sofia Hayat opens up on rumours of her attending Rakhi Sawant-Ritesh’s wedding in 2019
Back in 2019, drama queen, Rakhi Sawant announced marrying Ritesh in a low-key ceremony away from the media glare. Since then popular item girl kept on talking about him, but never introduced him or revealed his face to anyone. Fortunately, it is in 2021, the actress walked in with him on Salman Khan hosted TV reality show, Bigg Boss 15, thus leaving everyone surprised. As Rakhi had a hush-hush wedding, several reports claimed Bigg Boss, 7 contestant, Sofia Hayat had attended her wedding.
Sofia cleared the rumours during her conversation with ETimes, she stated she did not attend her wedding and has not met Rakhi’s husband. Also, Sofia slammed the netizens who claimed Ritesh is not Rakhi’s husband, but a cameraman of a reality show whom she picked. As reported in ETimes, Sofia said, “The only thing I am delighted to say is that people should not judge Rakhi or her marriage. And if people believe her marriage is a ruse, they should not watch Bigg Boss. The show simply has one goal: to entertain, and if that means lying about something, then so be it.”
She continued, “If the viewers are offended and believe it is a hoax, they should not watch it. They force individuals to fight, or they ask them to start a fight. As a result, no one should pass judgement on her. If they’re doing it for the publicity, it isn’t based on any facts and this works for Bigg Boss.”
She added that she admires Rakhi, “Rakhi is someone I have always admired. If she’s doing it for the sake of amusement, she’s doing a good job because people are having a good time.
