‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2’ fame Gautam Singh Vig is one of the most talked about contestants on Bigg Boss 16 for obvious reasons. He has been making headlines ever since he stepped into the BB house. Notably, Gautam has become the captain of the house for the second time, however, to obtain the captaincy, he has miffed all housemates. The actor chose to sacrifice the ration of the whole house to be the caption and this irked all the contestants who slammed Vig for the same.

In the latest episode, host Salman Khan gave Gautam a chance to be the captain provided he sacrifices everyone's ration. Initially, the actor refused it but when Dabangg Khan asked him to rethink his decision, Gautam Vig accepted his condition, leaving all the other contestants shocked. The TV actor mentioned that the in the past week he was a bit low so, through this captaincy, he wants to prove himself.

However, Gautam’s decision certainly did not go down well with the housemates who slammed him. While Archana Gautam, Tina Dutta, and Shalin Bhanot started bad-mouthing, Sajid Khan was so miffed that he went on to curse him. This rude behaviour of housemates towards Gautam has upset netizens as they took to Twitter to urge them not to torture the actor. One user tweeted, “The way #ArchanaGautam n #NimritKaurAhluwalia hit Gautam (during bhoot- jhaad task) was so wrong Disappointed from both of 'em. In the upcoming episode, Priyanka Chahar will be seen losing her calm after Gautam gives 16 eggs to Shalin because of his medical reasons. Even Gautam’s friend Nirmit turns against him and locks horns with the actor.
