Bollywood filmmaker Sajid Khan has been on the receiving end of hate ever since he entered Bigg Boss 16. His controversial past, violent behaviour in the house has often been a point of discussion among the audience. They have often times flooded social media with criticism towards him as he cannot be seen pulling much weight around the house. The director was nominated this week alongside contestants Tina Datta, Shalin Bhanot and Shiv Thakare. 

However, it looks like the makers’ are trying their best to save him from getting eliminated. In a recent episode a ticker showed that the voting lines for this week will be closed. This sparked speculation amongst the audience that there might not be an eviction this week too. For the unversed, the past four to five weeks the show hasn’t seen any evictions. Even though the show is currently in their third month, they still have 14 contestants. This has left the fans infuriated. One fan wrote, “So now 4th or 5th week without eviction. Isse accha to inhe hotel room de dete vahan sab padde rhte.” Another wrote, “Bhai bigg-boss ek kaam kyu nhi krte jab elimination Krna hi nahi hai toh Reality show ka tag hata ke daily soap bna de na. Parivaarik naatak”

A recent promo released by the makers of Bigg Boss 16, shows Sajid cryptically hinting that he would be staying on the show for a long time.
