Television actor Shalin Bahnot is one of the strongest contestants on Bigg Boss 16. Ever since entering the show, not only has he provided the audience with drama everyday, but has also faced criticism from the audience and the host Salman Khan for his behaviour and rude comments towards fellow contestants. In a recent episode, it was seen that Shalin lost his calm on the master of the house, after they refused to let him vent out his problems in privacy.

For the unversed, 35 minutes of last night’s episode was dedicated to Shalin Bhanot, where he ranted about how the reality show is affecting his mental health. The 39-year-old actor was called to the confession room, after he said he wanted to talk with BB. He requested the makers to not air the conversation on national television. But after being told that it was impossible to do so, Bigg Boss told him that they would arrange a therapist for him if he is battling with mental health issues. Shalin opened up about how the loneliness he is feeling is playing tricks with his mind and that hearing Priyanka Chahar Choudhary’s laughter, he feels that she is mocking him. He goes on to express how he already sees himself as the winner of this show and now that his minimum guarantee (MG) contract is fulfilled, he would like to go home. For the uninitiated, the contract consists of terms and conditions that contestants as well as the makers have to fulfill, while they are a part of the show. When BB told him that as per his contract he will have to stay in the house, the actor threatened to reveal the MG of all the other contestants. He went on to share that, while Sumbul Touqeer Khan came to the show with a MG of five weeks, Soundarya Sharma had a MG of two weeks. He went on to reveal that the astrologer that graced the show, was fake. Fans have lauded Shalin for showing such boldness.
