The second season of Bigg Boss OTT has gripped the attention of the audience even before it was launched. From Salman Khan replacing Karan Johar as the host, eliminating Puneet Superstar within 24 hours to the lip-lock between Akanksha Puri and Jad Hadid, the reality has become one of the most trending topics on social media. Well now it is being reported that Jad, who was appointed as the captain of the house has been removed from the position.

Yes, you read that right! According to a report by Telly Chakkar, after winning the doll task, the Lebanese model was chosen as the new captain of the house by the contestant. However, he was soon removed from the position after he broke some of the rules. BB went on to give Abhishek Malhan a secret task, which he successfully completed. Emerging as one of the strongest contestants on the show, Bigg Boss appoints him as the new captain of the house. For the unversed, the show currently consists of contestants like Falaq Naaz, Jiya Shankar, Abhishek Malhan, Akanksha Puri, Bebika Dhurve, Avinash Sachdev, Cyrus Broacha, Pooja Bhatt, Manisha Rani and Jad Hadid. The reality show has seen three evictions so far, Puneet Superstar, Palak Purswani and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ex-wife Aaliya Siddiqui.
