Salman Khan has reportedly replaced Karan Johar as the host for the upcoming season of Bigg Boss OTT
Superstar Salman Khan will be returning to the small screens as a host. Months after wrapping up Bigg Boss 16, he is all set to host the second season of Bigg Boss OTT. He has replaced Karan Johar, who had hosted the first season, after netizens couldn’t connect with his hosting. The makers of the show seem to have decided to rope in everyone’s favourite host for the upcoming season of the controversial reality show. Well, if reports are to be believed, they are going to start the shooting process soon.
According to Bollywood Life, the Bigg Boss OTT will be streamed for 6 weeks and Salman will start shooting for it from May 29th. Yes, you read that right! The superstar will start the shooting for the show by the end of the month. For the unversed, Bigg Boss OTT is a more unfiltered version than the show that airs on national television. Fans have been left ecstatic over the makers decision to bring back the actor as he has been a part of the show for over 12 seasons now. While the makers are yet to announce the names of the contestants, it is being reported that comedian Munawar Faruqui, who won Kangana Ranaut’s jail-based theme show Lock Upp season 1, is one of the first contestants to give a nod for the upcoming show. Apart from him Archana Gautam’s brother Gulshan Gautam too might be a part of the show. He had won over the audience when he had made a special appearance during the family week of BB16.
