Bigg Boss OTT Fame Urfi Javed Reacts On Being Called Javed Akhtar-Shabana Azmi's Granddaughter; Says, 'I Was Laughing'
In a recent interview, Bigg Boss OTT's Urfi Javed addressed the rumours of being called Javed Akhtar-Shabana Azmi's granddaughter.
Bigg Boss OTT fame Urfi Javed made headlines for her choice of outfit a couple of days ago. The actress was trolled left, right and centre for her airport look. Amid that, she was falsely called veteran Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi's granddaughter. Post that, Shabana Azmi took to Twitter and made it clear that she is not related to them. She tweeted, "She is not related to us on anyway.. stop spreading lies."
And now, in a recent interview, Urfi Javed was asked about it and she said that she laughed when she heard the news. Speaking to Latestly, Urfi said, "I am not the granddaughter of Javed Akhtar, being a granddaughter of Javed Akhtar means being a daughter of Farhan Akhtar which of course I am not. We don't belong to the same family as well."
"It was so funny to see people calling me Javed Akhtar ji's granddaughter. I was laughing when I saw the tweets. I even shared this thing with my family and friends and everyone just couldn't stop laughing," she added.
