Bigg Boss is a place where one person is locked with strangers in a house with no mobile phones and no contact with the outer world. The place puts you in a tough position or situation and compels you to stay away from your loved ones for a long period of time. So, when one is meeting a family member, it becomes a little emotional moment for them. Similarly, contestant Shamita Shetty couldn’t hold back her tears when she saw a video message from none other than her sister and actor Shilpa Shetty. During Raksha Bandhan's special, a video message of Shilpa was played in front of the housemates where she asked Shamita to stay strong and take care of herself.
Shilpa even said that if Shamita is strong then only will she feel strong. "Agar tum strong ho, toh main strong hoon," she said. Sending loads of love, Shilpa also told her to play well. This sweet message left Shamita in tears. In the previous Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Shamita broke into tears and revealed to host Karan Johar that she carries an emotional baggage as she feels she is living under her sister Shilpa Shetty's shadow. However, she also revealed to feel comfortable in her skin and wants the audience to see the real side amidst the constant comparisons with her sister who is a big star.
Meanwhile, in the recent Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Karan was seen schooling Zeeshan Khan for his huge fight with Akshara Singh. “Your justification is not worth buying at all. This is the most misogynistic remark I have heard recently and I have heard a lot of remarks coming out of a man’s mouth. Let me tell you, this remark of yours reeks of misogyny and chauvinism,” Karan told Zeeshan.
This week, previous contestants like Hina Khan and Rakhi Sawant were seen gracing the show to amplify the entertainment quotient.
