A lot of names begun to pop up on the internet after the announcement of Bigg Boss 15 were made on the digital platform. All set to be premiered on the OTT platform from August 8, 2021, it was speculated that singing reality show, Indian Idol 1 winner Abhijeet Sawant too is participating in the show. The news pieces circulating in the media, states the singer is being approached for the show, but he has set the record straight. As reported in Pinkvilla.com, he denied the makers approaching him for Bigg Boss 15 or Bigg Boss OTT.
Also, he informed if any such news is out, then it is untrue. Addressing rumours, Abhijeet Sawant said, “I haven’t been approached yet. So if there is any kind of news, it's not true.” When asked if he would like to participate if the makers approach, he replied that he is undecided about it, but it the people who more excited about it. “I haven't decided anything. There was no question actually, and there was nothing in my mind either. People are actually more excited, and I have seen many posts (on social media), and people are messaging me too,” he adds.
The singer shared that many are commenting on his social media posts, asking him when is he is entering the BB house. “Whenever I put something online, people keep asking about it, ‘when you are going’, because you know Rahul was there, but otherwise there is nothing specially that I want to go or something,” said the singer.
Abhijeet informs despite watching the Bigg Boss OTT poster though he was curious, the thought of participating in it did not come to his mind, “But even at that moment it didn’t come into my mind that I should go into Bigg Boss,” shared Abhijeet.
