As Salman Khan is the favourite host of the show, Bigg Boss 13 was launched by the star yesterday in Mumbai on a metro station. With fans excitement at its peak, here’s a list of former Bigg Boss winners who took home the trophy and the prize money.
The upcoming season 13 of Bigg Boss is all set to take over your evening with fun-filled entertainment and nasty fights from September 29. With names of a few contestants rumoured to make an entry in the show, the upcoming season is set to charm its viewers. As actors, Rashmi Desai, Sidharth Shukla and few other names have been making rounds on the internet until the season airs we clearly cannot speculate the names of the celebrities who win the upcoming season. With no time left for the show to start, here’s a throwback to the former winners of the show who have won hearts and taken the trophy home. From Season 1 winner Rahul Roy to Dipika Kakkar of Season 12, celebrities Ashutosh Kaushik, Vindu Dara Singh, Shweta Tiwari, Juhi Parmar, Urvashi Dholakia, Gauahar Khan, Gautam Gulati, Prince Narula, Manveer Gurjar, and Shilpa Shinde have bagged up the trophy by winning their respective seasons.
Season 1 Winner Rahul Roy – The Aashiqui actor won hearts with his performances in films and has been a childhood crush to many. Rahul Roy set the Bigg Boss season 1 with his charm, bagging up the very first winner trophy.
Season 2 Winner Ashutosh Kaushik – Kaushik was the winner of Bigg Boss season 2 although popular contestants like Jade Goody, Sambhavna Seth, and Rahul Mahajan. Ashutosh Kaushik was the also the winner of MTV Roadies 5.0 and owning to his huge fan-base, he won the show hosted by Shilpa Shetty.

Season 3 Winner Vindu Dara Singh – Son to famous actor Dara Singh, Vindu Dara Singh won the hearts of his audiences with lots of fun, entertainment, and jokes. Vindu was the winner to the third season of the house.
Season 4 Winner Shweta Tiwari – The Kasautii Zindagi Kay actress wad widely popular for her role as Prerna. On her entry in the house, Shweta was stuck with her ex-husband Raja Chaudhary after the couple ended their marriage due to their differences. The actress finally won the season and was the fourth winner of show Bigg Boss.
Season 5 Winner Juhi Parmar – Actress Juhi Parmar is loved on Television for her role as Kumkum in show Kumkum - Ek Pyaara Sa Bandhan. Juhi who recently started her Juhi Vlogs recently won the fifth season of the show.
Season 6 Winner Urvashi Dholakia – The most popular vamp Komolika of the Television industry and mother of two, Urvashi Dholakia bagged the winning trophy of the sixth season of Bigg Boss.
Season 7 Winner Gauahar Khan – Popular for her show Khan sisters, Gauahar Khan held the winning trophy of Bigg Boss season 7. The actress made headlines during her time in the show for her whirlwind romance with Kushal Tandon and later made appearances in Bollywood films as well.
Season 8 Winner Gautam Gulati – The most misunderstood and criticised celebrity of Season 8 was winner Gautam Gulati. Although with the support of a few housemates, keeping up his calm and performing tasks well Gautam bagged the winning trophy after winning the hearts of his audiences.
Season 9 Winner Prince Narula – Narula is known for his back to back wins of MTV Roadies 12 and Splitsvilla 8 and the Punjabi boy proved his fan-base by winning Bigg Boss Season 8. Prince Narula found his soulmate and life partner Yuvika Chaudhary on the show and the romance of the lovebirds hit headlines.
Season 10 Winner Manveer Gurjar – The 32-year-old Farmer won the hearts of the audience on the show with his understanding and calm nature. Manveer bagged up the winning trophy of the show and proved that a commoner can also be popular.
Season 11 Winner Shilpa Shinde – Amidst popular celebrities like Hina Khan, Vikas Gupta and Arshi Khan as contestants on the Shilpa Shinde broke the records with her stints on the show. As Shinde became on the most popular entertainers of Bigg Boss season 11, the actress bagged up the trophy and the prize money.
Season 12 Winner Dipika Kakkar – Kakkar has been winning hearts with her show Kaha Hum Kaha Tum on Star Plus. As the actress was well-known for her sweet and understanding attitude on the show, Dipika eventually won the show even after being criticized for her immense support towards S. Sreesanth.
Meanwhile, the upcoming Season 13 of Bigg Boss was launched by Salman Khan yesterday with Dhol and Dhamaka. The season premiere will air on Sunday, September 29 at 9 PM on Colors TV. Similarly, the show will be including only celebrities this time and Celebs Sidharth Shukla, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Rashami Desai, Dalljiet Kaur, Shivin Narang, Vivian D’Sena, Arti Singh and Paras Chhabra are among a few names who will enter the house.
