We hear, the actress will be playing the role of Draupadi in the mythological show, Suryaputra Karn.
The show has taken a time leap and the makers have brought in new names like Gautam Rode, who is seen playing the grown-up Karn and Shaleen Bhanot as Duryodhana - all in a bid to increase the low ratings.
A source close to the development told SpotboyE, "The show's producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary and Kajal are in advance talks."
Kajal, who has had a lacklustre stint in Bollywood, has been active in the South industry with several Tamil and Telugu hits to her credit.
