Salman Khan had discontinued hosting Bigg Boss during the last leg of Season 8. Farah Khan stepped into his shoes but couldn't garner the TRPs which the superstar did so easily with his casual antics.
Rumours had been flying thick and fast since then that Ranveer Singh might make it as the new host in the next season. But SpotboyE.com has now learnt that it will be none other than Salman in the ninth season of the show which is expected to start sometime later this year.
A source says, "The modalities are fast being worked out. We will start the show as per Salman's availability of dates."
