Cezanne Khan Admits To 'NOT SPEAKING' To Kasautii Zindagii Kay Co-Star Shweta Tiwari During Their Shoot; Says, 'Many Actors Don't Get Along'
Heard this? Cezanne Khan aka Anurag Basu of Kasautii Zindagii Kay says he and his co-star Shweta Tiwari didn't get along well during the show's shoot.
Ekta Kapoor's OG Kasautii Zindagii Kay has been a crucial part of our lives while growing up. The show, which starred Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan in the lead roles, was among one of the most loved daily soap operas. Well, the duo's sizzling chemistry was one of its highlights but did you it was limited to just their reel lives? Yes! In a recent interview with Times Of India, the actor revealed how he and Shweta Tiwari didn't get along well, so much so, that they never spoke to each other. This, however, didn't affect their professional lives and they continued to deliver some fine performances.
Cezanne Khan said, “True, there was a time when Shweta and I were not speaking at all. It’s okay, many actors don’t get along. Things happen in life but we being professionals continued doing our job with sincerity." Well, there were also rumours of their link-up during KZK days; however, neither between Cezanne and Shweta ever acknowledged the same. As of now, the two have moved on in their respective lives with Shweta being a single parent to two beautiful kids, while Cezanne soon getting hitched to his ladylove of three years.
Upon being asked about how he has managed his finances in the last few years, Cezanne said, "By God’s grace, money has not been an issue with me. I thank Ekta Kapoor for giving me Kasautii Zindagii Kay through which I made good money. I didn’t go on to squander it and I invested it properly, and I am probably reaping the benefits now."
In other news, Cezanne was recently hitting the headlines after being accused of fraud from a US-based Pakistani woman. The latter accused Khan of marrying her for a green card. Cezanne, however, rubbished her allegations by calling him an obsessive fan that has morphed documents and screenshots to portray him in a bad light.
