Chahatt Khanna On Karan Mehra And Nisha Rawal's Domestic Violence Feud; 'You Should Not Wash Your Dirty Linen In Public'

Karan Mehra, who is popularly known for playing Naitik in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was arrested by the Mumbai police and later granted bail. Nisha accused him of physical assault, but he has denied the allegations. The actress even accused him of having extramarital affair but he called it untrue. On the other hand, Karan claimed that she staged her injury as he refused to give her the alimony amount she asked for. Many of their friends from the industry came out in support and took sides.
In a recent interview with Zoom, Chahatt Khanna said that it is not respectable to wash one's dirty laundry in public. She said, 'I was dazed and it took me back in time. I have been hiding away. It affected me a lot. I personally think you should not wash your dirty linen in public. It is not respectable. I do not support it. They should not talk in the media and it makes no sense. I am nobody to say. Coming out in public and talking about your affairs is not cool.'
Earlier, Nisha addressed a press conference and even showed pictures of her bruises. While speaking to the media, Nisha said that wherever CCTV cameras were placed inside the house, he wouldn't do anything with her. However, he would always behave badly with her in their room where there we no cameras. She further said that Karan is claiming this is about money but that isn't the case. She said it was Karan who manipulated her into giving away her jewellery.
'I gave it to him but mujhe nahi pata tha peechhe se unka kya chal raha hai. He said we are under finanicial pressure, maine kaha bech do ghar, chote ghar me chale jayenge. I have been supportive.' Karan and Nisha have a son named Kavish.
