Caribbean cricketer Dwayne Bravo will light up the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa stage, literally, with his take on Big B’s iconic outfit from the song Saara Zamana Haseenon Ka Diwana
Everyone remembers Big B and his bulb-laden suit from the hit ‘80s number Saara Zamana Haseenon Ka Diwana. After the makers of Kaabil, reimagined it as an item number featuring Urvashi Rautela, now cricketer Dwayne Bravo has put his spin to it.
For the season finale of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Dwayne Bravo will join the show as a challenger and we can tell you that he will make his entry, dancing to his popular number Champion.
The judges Jacqueline Fernandez, Karan Johar and Farah Khan too will sway to the beats of the hit song.
The theme of the night is Costume Drama and Bravo brings his A-game by shaking a leg to the song Disco Deewane while donning Big B’s retro avatar from the movie Yaarana.
The West Indies all-rounder’s homage to Amitabh Bachchan impresses Karan Johar who goes on to say that Bravo’s performance was the best by any cricketer on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
Meanwhile, Salman Yussuf Khan will up the levels of theatricality with his Beauty and the Beast inspired act. Teen sensation Shantanu Maheshwari will be seen stepping out of his comfort zone and attempting a classical dance form Chhau. Propagating a green revolution, Siddharth Nigam will be seen dressed as a gorilla as he performs to the song Sadda Haq.
But the star of the night is none other than Dwayne Bravo, who has the audience impressed with his moves despite the fact that he struggles with Hindi and needs Jacqueline Fernandez’s help as a translator. But dance is a universal language they say and the cricketer proves the adage right.
