Actress Disha Vakani, who is widely known for playing Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has embraced motherhood bliss for the second time. Yes, you read that right! Disha has welcomed her second child, a baby boy. Her husband Mayur Padia and her brother, actor Mayur Vakani, confirmed the happy news to ETimes. Disha reportedly gave birth to her second bundle of joy a few days ago. Disha and her husband Mayur had welcomed their first child, baby girl Stuti, on November 30, 2017.

Confirming the news, Disha’s brother said, “I am happy that I have become an uncle again. In 2017, Disha had her baby girl and now she has become a mother again, and I have become mama again. I am very happy.” Last year in December, Disha sparked rumours of her second pregnancy when she was spotted flaunting her baby bump at a family function.


To note, Disha Vakani has been missing from TMKOC since 2017, and talking about her return, producer Asit Kumarr Modi said in a recent interview that she is likely to return to the show. He explained that the team is planning to introduce her track soon, but they are not sure if Disha will be back as Dayaben.  “Whether it is Disha ben or Nisha ben, we will surely get Daya's character back in the show,” Asit stated. 

Notably, Mayur, who plays the role of Sunderlal in the show, too confirmed the news of his sister’s return and said there is no reason why Disha should not return to the show she has been a part of it for so many years.
