Curtains for Ekta's Mona Singh show Pyaar Ho Jaane Do

TV czarina Ekta Kapoor’s show starring Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi fame Mona Singh is set to go off air barely within 2.5 months of it going on air. Yes you are right, we talking about Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do.
Ekta on her Instagram account has said: “ekmainaurektu7When a good TV show ends it's the end of a combined creative effort to make a difference! Brave r those who risk success to push d envelope! @sufibaby @nimishalok @niveditabasu @monajsingh @tanusridgupta”
But what Ekta didn’t expect was the response she would receive on her post. Fans poured in commenting that they still want the show on air as it since the storyline is much different and interesting than the run of the mill saas-bahu melodramas and mythological shows that have been bombarded at the prime time slots. And this wasn’t just one fan but many of them echoing the same sentiment.
A source told SpotboyE, “At the moment, Sony is in the phase of rebranding itself with mythological shows (read: Suryaputra Karn, Mahabali Hanuman) and non-fictional shows (read: Crime Patrol and Power Couple). Their move to end Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do, therefore, is not surprising."
